A Disruption of Fate

To conquer wraths of war and crime
Two must stand for all

Nyla has lived with these words all her life. They have marked her as the Champion of her country, destined to bring peace to her war-torn homeland or die trying.

When her best friend, Reena, is forced to leave, Nyla must face this destiny alone. Without her it becomes increasingly difficult to differentiate friend from foe. Especially when an assassin lurks in the shadows determined to keep Nyla from her fate…

Reena never wanted to abandon Nyla. But the war has already stolen too much, and what she discovers beyond her country’s borders shatters everything she thought she knew. Now Reena must decide where her true loyalties lie, and whether claiming her own power means losing the people she loves most.

With the world as they know it at stake, can Reena and Nyla choose their own paths, or are their fates already decided?
